Oil and Brakes

Hey guys. the two things im worried about are oil and and brakes

What oil are you guys using? Brand and weight?

What brakes are ya running? Just and idea of what I have....no rear seat, cage, and instructor in pass seat. I have ducts on the front and may do the rear. Ive heard a lot of good things about the XP10 XP8 combo.

thanks guys

Oil? I use whatever is cheapest at Advance Auto when it's time for an oil change.

Mobil 1 or Royal Purple, 10w40. This is really a question you should be asking your engine builder though.

Hawk DTC70. that may be a little hardcore for you. They suck when cold.

im most likely going to stick with what i already have which is Royal Purple. Im also using Nitto NT555s so im not looking for pads made for slicks. I just want to make sure that when I need the brakes they are there

The $19.99 5qt. of semi synthetic 10w30 Valvoline with a Bosch filter from autozone and some Lucas break in formula. 24hr endurance race with 100+ air temps and the majority of the driving was with the motor at full throttle under load. Done it more than few times...
