camber caster plates? difference between 89 & 90?

I have a pair of MM Cambercaster plates I originally got them for an 87 but now I have a 93 I want to put them on. MM shows 2 different part numbers but the parts look identical. even the instructions are the same.

So what is the difference between a 87-89 strut tower top and a 90-93 top?

Thanks,
Mike

the holes on the 87-89s where the plates move are smaller than on the 90-93's. they have more room to move around on 90+ i think. double check me though, go to maximum motorsports site and see, i think they say the differences

The holes in the top of the shock tower are slightly different. These are steel UPR plates, but you can see the difference.

The three mounting holes are the same diameter, but Ford moved the center to center locations of them slightly. You can probably install the c/c plates in your car with a hammer, but you're not going to be able to move them very easily to adjust them.

I suggest that you call MM. They can probably sell you just the plates pretty cheap. Just explain the situation to them and I bet they will help you out.
