Anyone running longer rear LCA's?
My torque boxes are beat to hell in my 88 mustang. The car is an ex-AI car that I run in HPDE3 events. Full cage, etc... I bought a set of the "battle boxes" to weld in, but have been considering going to the longer rear control arms. Griggs sells a set with the brackets for around $320, but I was going to fab a set myself. Wondering if anyone has gone from the stock length to the longer, what the feedback was. I figured it wouldn't be any more difficult to weld in the forward brackets than it would be to weld in the boxes.... One change would be I'd lose the rear sway bar, could either go w/o or get one from MM. With 325lb rear coilover springs I may not need a rear bar however. Car has an EVM 3 link in place, with cambered 8.8 rear axle.
