Griggs Racing GR40ST @ Infineon Passing Everything in Sight!

Colin Sebern and Ken Ahmann drive the new Griggs Racing GR40ST around Infineon Raceway during NASA Pro Racing's Group 4 HPDE event at the end of March. This is a full interior vehicle (3420lbs. empty) with 300HP Passing everything in sight!

Was that the blue car?

What do you guys think it'll run at Infineon without traffic?

Yup, that is the Blue '09 S197 #45... You can see some pictures in the Gallery on www.griggsracing.com

Not sure what times it is running at this point, but I'll ask Colin when I get a chance.

You can pass anywhere at an HPDE? I was told locally (haven't done an event yet) that you can only pass on the straight part and have to be waved by the person you wish to pass before attempting to.

Just curious. Nice video

It depends on what group, organization, and region you are running in. Every club runs things a little different. In nasa norcal group 4 is open passing anywhere on the track point-bys are not required. Group 1-2 is passing only on the straights, point-bys are not required.

I hate to come off as an #######, but the constant sensationalizing in the Griggs videos is getting old. Pointing out every expensive car with a poor driver being passed in HPDE doesn't make me believe any more or less in the product. Honestly, it's below Griggs and unnecessary given their pedigree.

We all know Griggs products are well made and proven to work. Let's see some in car footage from a Griggs S197 in competition where it belongs.

I don't wanna see footage of them getting owned by the MM equipped cars.

Ahh, if I were to do it again I'd love to have a 2010 black on black GR S197TT but with a turbo, or magna charger.....With the time/money/labor I've put into my notch I'd have money left over and more time to enjoy it!

I really think the 2010 Mustang looks awesome--once lowered and stuffed with tires its really gonna look bad ass.

Well it's Saturday morning and time for me to get to work on my notch.......

Must keep making progress
