I understand that's Alain Castellana in a Norma, not an Audi R8 ... but kinda cool anyway.

So who has more balls, the guy driving or the guys standing on the side watching. I'm not even sure the guys watching knew the car had passed.

Wow,that thing is FAST. One of the great things about hills has got to be the diversity of cars that come out to play. Here in the northeast we have had Trans-Am cars, winged specials with turbo rotary engines one team even has a Bobby Rahal IndyCar (Blue and Yellow "Kraco" car) and a Gurney Eagle form the late '70s.

My drinking team has a racing problem.

I would love to try out a hillclimb. Problem is there aren't any hills around here + I can't afford to smash my car up.

That's not an R8. I don't recall the chassis, it might be a Norma. I do know it's got a BMW M3 based (but not near stock) straight 6 in it.....

That's a great vid, have had it downloaed for years and often play it when I need 5 minutes to myself @ work.

That is absolutely insane. On the edge and then some for sure. Obviously a guy that has run that hill many, many times. Either way, wow.
