Greetings,

I just picked up a set of used Nitto NT01 on 03 Cobra wheels to use for track days. I am looking for some care & feeding tips for these tires. I've used Victoracers as track tires for my Neons and Civic but this is the first R tire for the Mustang. I read MFE's thread on them found here:
http://forums.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1035748&highlight=nitto+nt01 but I only found one bit of info on hot pressures.

Any real world expiriences or hints on these tires would be appreciated.

I run -3 degrees of camber up front and I usually start with 24 psi front, 26 psi cold rear. They wear very well. I have about 7 track weekends on my current set and figure I have one more good weekend in them. I got them as scuff take offs from an AV8SS driver. The only down side I have seen with this tire is the inability to flip like the RA1.

They are scarey in rain once the tread is gone but I would imagine every tire without tread is.

I just went through the other thread and have a bit to add. They do get greasy when driven hard for 30 minute sessions. It's no big deal, dial back the threshold braking and ease into the gas a bit more gingerly on turn-in.
