Anyone know anything about this kit? Their website is absolutely horrible. No info at all....but Job Spetter Jr. has them listed on his site and they have been around for 20+ years.
I went with the HP kit. I don't really have any complaints about their kit, but of course this is the only kit I have ever had. When I outgrow this kit, I will more than likely build my own (with help).
I went with a stage 3 because at the time I knew I would be doing more to the motor, but at the time I didn't know what specifically I'd be doing. As for power, when I installed it on my bone stock motor, I only ran it for a couple of weeks. I was going to take it and get it tuned but decided against it when I saw the turbo just amplified my already existing problems with the motor.
I know it's hard to tell but as for seat of the pants, compared to stock, it felt bad ass! It wouldn't hook worth a damn tho.
As for now, I have a dart block - 348 with tfs hi ports. I don't have my intake yet, but I will be staying fuel injection. I'm doing alot of work to it but not sure when it'll be done.
I just want something that will push me into my seat. I would love to hit 11.999 in the 1/4
I went with a 2500 Stall Converter although the turbo will raise the stall, still I hope that it wont kill me, I am sure a higher stall would help more.
Well, I didn't want (and havent until now) to post any times of what I ran, the one night I took the car to the track before I took the motor out because it was just a couple of tests runs and there were so many variables that didn't help. I had base boost at 9psi and timing set really low since I didn't have a tune, I didn't power shift and I lauched like I would from a stop light. I was using a bad tire gauge and found out that I was running about 25psi on all but the last run, which I then used another gauge and took it down to 18psi (M/T ET Streets not radials). I would have gone lower but it was time to leave.
1.91 60'
7.875 660
93.56 mph
That was the best run because I kept spinning on the other runs. If I would have had a tune, came out on boost (maybe a 2 step or something) had a good tire pressure, power shifted I know it would have ran ALOT better. Then I could have always added more boost on top of that. This was all with the stock comp. which we all know sucks in our cars and of course comletely stock motor too .
I don't want to make any claims since I don't know everything about turbos or your particular combination but I'd guess 11s should be a breeze man.
Turbo Technology has been around for about 15+yrs. They must be doing something right. I called asking about their kits 2 months ago. Their kits seem to have never been updated. They are using the same turbos from 15yrs ago. They use a lot of hybrid turbos. IMO there are better setups out there plus they have high prices. The same with Cartech.
Turbo Technology has made some new kits in the past 15 years just not really any for the 94-95 cars. I know they were working on a "race" kit for those cars but no idea if they are selling that now days. Cartech came out with a new 94-95 kit a few years ago and it is not that bad of a kit.

I would checout B&G turbos. I believe they make a 94-95 kit. I have only heard good things about B&G.
Go to this website www.turbomustangs.com and read, read, and read some more! When i put together my first turbo setup i spent about 20hours worth of research before i purchased anything. This website has everything you want to know and then some! They are a little testy if you go on the website and ask basic questions without atleast doing some research but there is alot of info on the site.
TTI may seem high in price compared to others, but you will never have to worry about being cheated with them. So many people have lost lots of $$$$ looking for a cheaper kit and yes, some kits may make more power but unless you going with an aftermarket block, who cares, they all make more than enough to split to factory block anyway. Call or sign up for their forum through the website and post any questions you may have and George will get back to you.
I agree with this 100%, there is a reason why they have been in business and under the same ownership longer than any other Mustang turbo kit company out there.
The TTI street kit lets you keep all accessories down to the smog pump.
