1968 MUSTANG COUPE RESTO-MOD

UP FOR SALE IS MY 68 COUPE. ive owned it for around 4yrs. im the 2nd owner-car was purchased from my neighbor (the original owners)car was restored by me and a friend. has been finished for around 2 1/2 yrs.
this is NOT my daily driver and only comes out on nice days/weekeds or car shows. can be driven daily if needed- but ive got 3 other cars so this one sits clean in a a/c-heated garage.car is its original color inside and out w/tastefull mods-can be returned to factory w/minor work needing done.

ext. color- ppg base coat/clear coat
1968 ford presidential blue w/3" cowl hood
int. color-
blue/light blue-black camara case dash finish

engine-
rebuilt 1974 block converted over to roller w/crane cam kit
stock resized rods w/arp bolts
stock crankshaft w/chamfferred oil passages
arp main studs
comp cams xtreme energy xe274hr cam .555 .565 lift
ford raciing roller lifters

heads-
Roush racing 200cc heads w/2.02 1.60 valves w/light bowl blending and exhaust porting
1.6 omega roller rockers-hardened push rods
arp head bolts 1/2"

induction-
proffesonal products typhoon intake(same as e-brock performer rpm)
proffesional products 70mm t-body and spacer-both polished
pro-m mass air meter-75mm
painless wiring efi wiring harness
stock manifolds w/full 2 1/2" exhaust and custom h-pipe

trans-
tremec built t-5 5speed
centerforce clutch
clutch cable conversion
new trans crossmember and yoke for t-5 conversion

rear end-
ford 9" out of a 67 fastback
factory ford traction lock w/3.25 gears

wheels-
factory ford mustang 02 bullets-chrome 225-45-17fronts
fronts were custom narrowed to 17x7"-did this to run em w/out 1" adapters
rears are 18x9 deep dish chorme bullets w/295-35-18 tires.
both front and rear tuck in very nicely

suspension-
grab a trak front lowering springs 1 1/2
g -a- t rear 5 1/2 rear leafs w./mid eaye-1 inch drop
new busings and hardware
1 inch front sway bar
7/8 rear sway bar

interior-
new interior kit/carpet-headliner-seat covers-door panels-etc
also replaced steering w/a nice grant 3 spoke design
new under dash ac kit blows cold-heat works great-
new dash pieces in camera case finish-small tach on steering shaft-

* car will come w/original hood painted to match- perfectly
* car will come w/original 289/3speed trans
car does have new chrome bumpers/trim/tail light bezels/pop off gas cap/etc..

now for the price- ive invested alot of time and $$$$$ in this car-i do have pics during resto to be provided on this rust free beauty..21k cash obo- to be p/u in north texas-fly in and drive home.

Why change the trans? The offer for the trans/misc parts can't be worth putting an auto in it. :) You'll get closer to your asking price with the 5-speed, don't you think?

BTW, TTT for a gorgeous car!
