What oil to use?

Hey guys, looks like I'll be purchasing a 99 Cobra today. I just want to know what kind of oil everyone here recommends. Synthetic or not? What is the best kind in your opinion?

Also, what are some other maintenance items I can do to the car to keep it running great? (Example: on my SHO there is a large bit of maintenance at 60,000 miles...timing belt,plugs/wires, stuff like that) Any recommended things like that?

thanks a lot!

I use synthetic oil.

Much better temperature stability...
Much better lubricity & shear resistance...
Much better retention on cylinder walls after shutdown & so better lube on next startup...
Its ability to handles contaminants and acid buildup is much better.
There is just less stuff in it that is not oil.
If you are in a colder region the cold start ability is much better.

In my opinion Mobil One is nearly the best on the market. Probably the top of the line are ester based oils such as Redline.
Be careful of partially synthetic oils that are really just regular oils with a small synthetic component.
