I know there are several posts on this topic. I have read most of them and followed the troubleshooting steps. As one post here stated, I’ve followed it up to the multi function switch and I have 12v on the Org/Ylw wire with the ignition on. When I jumper this to any of the other wires in the plug with it unhooked from the switch the signals work. I have ohmed the contacts from the terminal that the Org/Ylw connects to on the switch to the rest of the terminals and no continuity with switch in left or right position. Replaced the multi function switch and same thing. What am I missing?Hazards work fine. Ignition switch is new, as we broke it when refurbishing car
Yes. Both flashers are working. And the signals work properly when I jumper the Org/Ylw to any of the other pair of wires at the plug that plugs into the multi function switch.
LG/ORG & LG/WHT Left, LBlue/WHT& LBlue/ORG right.. My question is still about continuity between the 12v power in pin on the switch to the others terminals. Shouldn’t there be continuity between these depending on the position of MFS? Yes I’m aware the switches are different for an 89 and u have to re pin it to make one work.
I’ve also noticed when I jumper from the ORG/YLW to the wires for the front right signals, both front and rear come on and flash. Same thing for the left side.
