I have hooked up mechanical ones before with the copper tube and all but I'm wanting to hook up a electrical oil pressure gauge (autometer) to my 98gt. My question is how do i go about hooking it up since its electrical? It should come with a sending unit, does it just thread into the factory hole underneath the car?

Any help would be greatful. Also should you put teflon on the threads or anything since its oil? Im just trying to cover all bases before hand. ;)

If anyone is interested on a 98 gt all you have to do is remove the factory oil pressure sensor and install the one provided with your gauge. If its a autometer you may need to remove the small bracket attached to the power steering line before you can thread the new unit on due to its much larger size. You will need the larger adapter to make this work however.
