Mine seems fine...my downpipe isnt even wrapped yet...no problem starting here..I do have a problem blowing my breather off the valve cover tho...LOL...

Yeah my Pcv was blowing out too,but i fixed that and now the breather is..i think that its blowing out because the grommet is to loose and it is a meg shifted set up...lol...im thinking if i get the right grommet and breather i think i should be ok..Im also making double the boost you are...im at 14 psi....

Do you have pictures of how you did your catch can?

not at the moment. drilled two big holes got some groments and some 90 degree elbows from lowes (lol) got some rubber hose and clamped them on to the catch can. i think theres a thread called "let me see your catch can set ups". there should be a lot of threads on the subject

Ok cool if you get a chance post up some pics..i need to correct this problem..What type 90s did you use copper.plastic, black pipe...lol

Ok so i dont have to do both valve covers?..I can do just one side?...Also do you guys run a PCV?...if not what did you do with the hole?

A hole in each valve cover. There's like a rubber thing the with a bolt through it. When you tighten it it expands out and plugs the hole tight. Can't remember what it's called

Yeah its a rubber freeze out plug that expands that i know...But i have to run 2 hoses to a catch can i cant leave the PCV and run one hose to the PCV...and i dont know of any welders that can weld something in my valve covers anyway i can do it with out welding?

i got one of the breather tanks from racepartsolutions and ran a -12 line from each valve cover to the catch can and plugged the intake where the pcv goes. couldnt tell u how it works cause its a turbo mustang who has one that runs lol on a side note i didnt have access to a welder at the time so i used jb weld to put the -12 fittings in. seems to hold up fine when its on jackstands lol i'll prob find two more driver side valve covers and redo it eventually

Mine runs..lol..Just i have alot of boost so anything hgiher then 10 psi it seems to blow the breather out..I will put in the catch can and see if that helps...

A question about starter and down pipe heat issues turned into a pcv catch can thread :shakehead

Sorry about that...I did say my starter never has a problem starting when hot...Maybe a bad starter?..

I was concerned when biulding my kit. My down pipe is only about 1/2inch away from the starter. So I used a starter blanket from summit and also wrapped the down pipe passed the starter. No problems here been 3 years now.
