my buddy put them in his coupe. But he never install that size of tire. But just looking they should fit. You will still have to use a BFH. Also, people have been cutting the rear end down 1 1/2 to 2" on each side looks real good. Good luck!

I read in a minitub article that a 29inch tire will rub on the wheel well opening (bottom front)., unless the tire is completely inside the fender. They tested the MT E/T streets. If the rear is anorrowed it is easy
A 29 10.5 W is going to be more of an issue front to back in the wheel opening, than a side to side (wideth)
I have a set of wolfe mini tubs and was looking to run a 315-60-15 (30" tall tire) radial. I could squeeze it in wideth wise with notching the frame rails, but I ALSO had to open up the wheels wells front to back to make it work.
as stated above, its not the width thats going to be a problem, its going to be the front to rear clearance of the wheel well unless you narrow the rear and put the tire completely inside the wheel well.

my friend has some 29x10.5w on his car. he has not ran the car but its a 9in rear end stock lenth. he has a 15x10 with a 6in back space. his rear end is a currie 9in and its only a 31 spline 9in. iinstalled a 9in in my car and its been shorten 3 in on each side and the tires i have are 29.5x10.5 and it still needs work on that size tire
Well im definitely opening the front and rear of the wheel well opening so they don't rub as I stated in my original post.My real question is i hope it doesn't rub on the outer quarter panel lip I do already have mine rolled tho keep the pics and setups coming.
