43 years young. purchased my third mustang v8 just two weeks ago. back in 95, i had an 88 LX 5.0 (hatchback)then later in 99 traded it for a 91 LX 5.0 (notchback)
now i’ve purchased a 98 GT. almost completely stock. has magnaflow mufflers, lowering springs and today my 18” saleen wheels and tires should arrive. i’ve joined to get the best info to make my 98 run somewhere near where my 88 and 91 ran. this time arpund she’s not my daily driver so ive got time. im interested in either swapping out my motor altogether (its got 185,000 miles) or PI update and much more.
before purchasing my 88 LX 5.0, i tried GM by way of a 1987 Firebird Formula 350 (TPI). that car convinced me to go Ford and i have ever since! Ford trucks, mustangs and i keep a Toyota Tundra for work (bail bondsman)
