New member old Mustang lover

Hello from New Hampshire. I just joined the forum today, I now own my 3rd Mustang GT....My first was a 1993 GT that I bought new and sold when my first daughter was born....My second was a 1998 GT 4.6 which I sold because I was not a fan of the body style. I recently purchased an 89 GT because it was too cheap to pass up. It is now in the garage being torn down for a new build up. Will be posting frequently in an attempt to decide on the 347 stroker route or 351W swap.

Look forward to interacting with other 'Stang enthusiasts!

Thanks in advance

Garrett

Old Mustang lover

Welcome to the forum. Iv'e been on this forum for ten years and have gone through 3 car in that time. This is my first post on this forum. I'm like you I love the old Mustangs.I've owned 4 Mustangs . I'm much like you, I can't get them out of my system. My last Mustang was a 67 fb GTA.I got dumb and sold it.Now the prices have gone up so high on these cars that I not sure if I want to invest so much in one. I think my next Mustang will be a fox body, before they go up out of my price range.Roger

Hey Roger,

Life ( kids, and divorces ) has a funny way of making us get rid of cars we don't want to, or shouldn't.......My "new" foxbody was a search that I have been doing for several years. I wanted an 87 T-Top because it was my hs graduation year. After looking at alot of junk, i decided to go look at this 89 that I found online. Glad I did, it is immaculate body wise, not a speck of rust. Someone put alot of time and money into upgrades but I don't think they made the best combination of pieces/parts because it doesn't make anywhere near the power it should. Tearing it apart now, documenting each and every piece and setting. Merry Christmas to all!

I went with a 351w, the swap may not be worth all the effort and costs from my past results.
