I have a really nice 1968 Ford F100 Shortbed Truck that I may be willing to trade you, if you're interested. I am in NC. I have a lot of time and effort invested in this truck and it's my pride and joy. It has a new pro built big block 0.030" 390 engine, Auto C6 trans, 3.50 gears, 1 pc driveshaft, all new brakes, front disc brake conversion, metallic blue paint, chrome rims, new tires, dual exhaust, P/S, etc… It has 5,000 miles on the drivetrain. It has new upholstery inside and it's very very sharp. Every time I go somewhere, I get complements. It shines very brightly. I just need something that gets a little better gas mileage. I have too much invested in the truck. Would you be interested in trading?

Does the A/C/Heat work? Any stress cracks in the floor pans? Any rust? T-tops leak? Good Torque boxes? How many miles on engine? Rebuilt motor? Clear title?

Thanks

The A/C isn't hooked up. Its missing the line going from the condenser to the compressor. I started to hook up the a/c but since i hardly drive it i didn't.The heat works also. The air comes out of the top and bottom vents not the middle. I believe that is caused from a vacume hose not hooked up. The fuel gauge doesn't work properly. It stays on E until it gets low then starts going up. Other then that it runs great (and smooth) good power and no rust. Torque boxes are good and floor pans are good also (no cracks) 5500 miles on rebuilt motor (motor is out of an 89' 5.0. As far as i know the vin is clear. If you want to check the VIN is:
1FABP28M5GF160041. I've only driven it in the rain a few times and it was fine. I know if you use a pressure washer or hose and spray on the seals it gets a few drops on the seats (it looks to be fron where the window and the t-top make contact).
I've had it since 04 and i've put 4000 miles on it (weekend and nice days). I bought it for $4000 and i've put $6000 into it. Its a good car and fun to drive. I don't have a clue on MPG. I drive it about 100 miles a month so i haven't kept track. If you have any questions just let me know.
Thanks
Jason
