All right guys , I am not sure about this sale yet. I love my car but I believe it's about time to move on . I will do my best to describe this car . What I have is a 1986 Gt red on red . It is a 5 speed . It's mostly stock with some bolt ons. The actual millage is unknown as the speed cable is broke . The engine is a jy motor out of a 93 Gt . The previous owner said the engine had around 50,000 but who knows.

I think thats all , now for the condition of the car.
I bought this car from a friend of mine last November . Overall the car looks good for its age. It is by no means a showcar but it's not a P. O. S. either. At some point this car had a cheap paintjob done. All the trim and parts are there inc. the bodyside mouldings which is rare . It has a few scratches here and there as well as a little rust around the rear window . I don't believe it's real bad should be an easy fix . The front bumper could use some work or replaced , it dosn't look bad it is a little warped and has a small crack in it . The car has new door and trunk rubbers but needs the window channel rubbers. The inside is in decent shape , it needs a good cleaning. The dash pad need replaced and there is a rip at the top of the backseat .
What the car needs:
The rear brakes are not hooked up , the previous owner sold the rearend and got one in return that was welded up on the inside that had no brakes on it . So if you remove the drum all you see is axle ! They pluged it off at the master cylinder somehow . There are no lines on the axle housing . What I had planed on doing was just getting another rear and swapping it out and hooking the back brakes up . Also the emergency brake cables are mia.
The front brakes have been converted to 87 up brakes with the spindles , rotors , calipers , etc. It needs a wheel alignment.
The passenger side windor motor is real slow , it works but needs replaced.
How the car runs:
The car runs great , it's really strong for what it has . On the highway the rearend is anoying and I wont drive it in the rain . The car has run an 8.53 in the 1/8 with a 1.78 60ft time on 275/50 MT ET Street radials. It averages 8.60's on the 26 10.5 ET Streets.
This would make a great car for someone with a little time and money . Swap the rearend and get it lined up and it would be a good d/d. Or you can add more mods and go faster. I am open to trades but prefer cash as I am wanting a 1st gen lightning . I am advertising the car locally for 5000.00 but 4500.00 firm is what i'm after .
