'86 SVO, White in NM, $3500

1986 9L (White) SVO
188k miles, cloth interior, no sunroof, general condition is good.
The good:
• New Koni’s front and rear (1984 spec, and I have the originals)
• H&R sport springs (I have the originals)
• Poly front LCA bushings
• New rear upper HD arms (originals included)
• MM HD rear lower control arms ( originals included)
• MM Caster/Camber plates
(Suspension was redone 2003, aprox 25k miles ago)

• Bob’s log header (2nd generation; also have the first gen I bought from Bob that is cracked, he replaced it even thought it cracked because I wasn’t running a support brace; also includes the original E6)
• Bob’s gutted turbo elbow
• 3” downpipe, 3” hi-flow cat, splits into dual 2 ½” exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers
• Ranger roller cam and followers (original included)
• Taurus electric fan (original, with squeaky motor, included)
• Kenny Brown full length sub frames
• New battery (5.30.07 Autocraft 84 month)
• New braided stainless brake lines (all five)
• Most parts to complete a serpentine belt conversion
• Turbo Coupe viton valve seals installed 2 yrs (15k miles ago)
• New weatherstipping all the way around (doors, hatchback); new dew wipes ( 6 months ago)
• Have the original steering rack (Previous owner replaced)
• Have two sets of cracked headlights (Previous owner gave them to me, not sure what good they are)
• Currently has a Turbo Coupe intercooler mounted (also have original, a Saab 900, a Volvo, and a Super Coupe; never did get around to using any of them, just kept buying the ones I saw at the Pick-n-Pull)
• New (1 month) Walbro 255lph hi-flow fuel pump
• New (2 months) adjustable fuel pressure regulator
• 3g alternator (from a Taurus, 95a fits stock mount), just rebuilt (5.30.07)
• Just had the clutch replaced (shop did oil pan, and rear main seal, and put on a steel bearing retainer at the same time)
• Two sets of wheels; ugly black painted Tri-bars (with good Hankook Sport K-104’s) and OEM wheels (previous owner had them re-finished I managed to put a scratch on one, the other three are in good condition, come with worn out Yokohama AVS’s)

The Bad:
• Paint is original, some clear coat peel; from 50’ it looks good (previous owner had Ford re-shoot the bumpers in 1989)
• Interior; drives side bolster is ripped, carpet is stained, fuzzy dash is no longer fuzzy (but the dash is un-cracked and still pretty), Steering wheel and shift knob leather is non-existent
• Upper wing is cracked on the drivers side (just happened this winter…darn NM cold winters)
• Lots of rattles, I’ve never been able to find/eliminate the rear hatch rattles, most are due to the suspension
• A/C parts are all present, the compressor needs to be replaced
Overall the car is in good shape, suspension is great, mechanical is great, looks ok. $3500 firm
