The last year of Carb. I am the third owner. Old picture here
First owner of the car is a friend of mine that bought it new from the lot. He put a small amount of street miles on it before turning it into a dedicated autox car.
Rod Baker ford then bought the car off him in 96, and put the car in his storage building. Baker let his son drive it for a while as I had noticed it on the street.
In 2004 I bought the car from baker. I have since then put about 600 miles on it.
Thats some of the history. Now the car
Car was a stripped down model plus a/c. The condenser was removed for weight and lost by Rod Baker.
The motor is stock except.
The carb has about 800 dollars in it. You can spin the thing anywhich way and it never loses gas.
It has headers, the cats were removed, and Flow masters installed with dumps.
Suspension has Energy suspension bushings.
Koni shocks all around.
PHB on the rear
1000 pound front and 250 rears for springs.
Clutch is in excellent condition and has a new truetrac that I installed this year.
Tires in the pictures are Victoracers, but also have the 10 hole with brand new bfgs on them. The 10 holes have very little miles on them.
The front seats are like brand new as they dont have any miles on them.
The exterior is in mint condition. It has never seen snow nor salt. The only time it has seen rain was at a track or on the trailer. I did have the car touched up and buffed due to slicks beating the hell out of the paint. Also my friend had the GT emblem removed from the hood as he didnt like it. Has a steeda wing and Ground effects.
Some bad things about the car.
The dash is fading from being out on hot summer days. The carpet is a little dirty, the rear seats red pins are starting to fade. The front trim piece is cracked and it is missing the rear shock covers.
I know I am missing some stuff. For a 20 year old car it has been well maintained and uses only synthetics.
If you would like more or better pictures LMK. As this picture does not do it justice.
