I have an 85 Med. Can. Red car and a jalpeno red 84 for sale. Here's the skivvy. The 85 is a 67,000 mile car and is clean as ****. Unfortunatly I rearended a Lumina. Car has left front damage and the frame has been bent but I have been told it will be an easy pull. The left side is intact. The car ran strong and has and pulled 16-18 lbs. of boost. It has a big valve head on it and an 86 intake that has been ported. Supposedly has a cam but I have yet to confirm. It was needing a set of valve guides but I just never got to it as it was my driver. Interior is nice. The shift-knob is shot if you care and the steering wheel needs recovered. The konis are still rust free and look and work. Car is rust free and has alot of the unique pieces there. It was a sharp car and the turbo was addictive! Fun car to drive but yes lacked the power of the 5.0. You'll notice my signiture and that is the car I traded for the 85 so I just got into these turbo cars.
The 84 is a car I picked up to fix my 85. Turns out I will not be doing so and was getting parted and I was to keep some of the stuff to use on the 85. This car was road raced and had a 5.0 in it. Car is a rolling chassis. Interior is gone. The wiring is intact and needs a dash and heater core(which I have). Car has a custom built cage. (pro-prep, bolt in) 8.8 rear with Moser axles, richmond 3.73's, auburn pro-series diff., global west trac-link and panhard bar setup, hpm megabite jr. aluminum lowers, wilwood 4 piston caliper brakes on 12.125x.812 rotors. Tokico illumina 5 way adjustable shocks and struts. Front suspension is the cast 84 A arms with aluminum bushings, stock brakes and rotors. Strut tower brace. BBS white wire basket style wheels. I have a ton of parts with this car.....interior, brakes, bearings.
Baby due in feb. so this project just will be waiting till who knows or I sell and get a car to drive. Wife thinks this so they got to go.
$3700 or best and for someone with the time this is a good deal.
Any help with posting pics please. Also sorry to the moderated that had to move this. My bad. Guys the cars are both on www.svoca.com. In the lounge under another svo in involved in accident and again the lounge under got the 84 home. I'll get pics up with more detail on the cars. They have to go! Ryan
The 85 has brand new 3" exaust and flowmaster. 3" downpipe as well. I have a bunch of parts that go also. Interior, dashpad, lights, etc.. Give me a call if remotely interested. It is just easier over the phone for me anymore. Ryan
