SOLD FL: 1985 Mustang GT, 5 sp., T-top, black

SOLD. Sad to see it go!

1985 Mustang GT, 5 speed, T-top, black $7,000
116,000 miles
Everything works
A.C.
Power steering
Power brakes
Very clean inside and out
Nice stereo with sub box that the T-tops fit under
Shorty headers, but I also have the original headers
8.8 with 3.73 gears and limited slip
Smog stuff is removed but comes with the car if you want it.
FMS aluminum driveshaft
FMS B springs

I'm picky so here are my negatives:
Headliners has a few wrinkles at the edges. They don't make the correct replacement vinyl for t-top cars and it is not bad enough to put the wrong stuff in the car.
The inside driver door handle has to be pulled twice sometimes
The bushing on the detent on the driver door came off so it won't stay open in wind or on a hill.

Car is ready to show or drive. I have won first place fox body, and have driven on trips to New York, Atlanta, and Ocala. You can fly in and drive home!

Sampling of the car. I have a ton more pics.

Bunch more pic's:

I do not have the original wheels any more.

I am only selling this to make room for another project.

Thanks,
Tyler

1985 GT, T-top, 5sp., Black. Pretty much stock except for 8.8 LSD with 3.73's and sub-frames.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I will say the no haggling price is $6,500 if interested.

Thanks.

I'm starting to struggle with even selling it. I have too many vehicles, and not enough covered parking! Now I'm thinking build another carport or pole barn for my newest addition and keep it.

This really is a very nice car. I'm only selling because I have five vehicles right now, and only four covered parking spaces.

Here's a link to 56 pictures I took just yesterday showing every inch of it in detail. Don't you know it started sprinkling so the little funny spots on the paint are sprinkles of water unless you see a specific close up shot to show a flaw. New Pics Photos by Tdoin | Photobucket

IMO, all this car needs is an inside driver door handle, and to repaint the black part of the air cleaner! Oh, and a headliner if they'd start making the correct material.

Here's the flaws:

Again, please ignore the sprinkles of rain that got on it. BTW, I do not drive this in the rain. The only time I have was when I drove it back from NY because I had no choice.

Here's my fine family of Fords right now:

That Raptor needs a comfy covered spot to park.

Yea, it's a 68 bronco I'm resto-modding for my wife. That's just another reason I need more room around here. It's not for sale, but I might sell the 68 f100, 4x4. I just can't bring myself to part with it even though I have the 2010 Raptor. 2 trucks seems silly, but they both serve different purposes. At least that's what I tell myself.

Very nice line-up of vehicles. I just sold my 89lx track car and decided to keep my 69 bronco. I can't ever see myself selling this truck. I'd love to add an F100. I'd like a 2wd 'rat rod' V8 auto. I also want to get another 86 t-top at some point. I miss my old one...

Good luck with your sale!

Man, that is sharp! This one is the fifth early Bronco I have bought, but the first uncut one. Disliked them when I was younger, but now I think they are sweet looking like the cut ones.

I miss all my old vehicles, and am tempted sometimes to add more space for cars, but I just can't bring myself to spend the money just to keep hanging on to cars.

Here's a full shot of the Bronco when I could move it around. Started pulling the motor apart a couple weeks ago so it's down for a bit now.

BTW, you need a 85 t-top. Not 86!

Someone is coming to look at it tomorrow, but it is still available at the moment.

Let me know if you want to talk.

Thanks,
Tyler
