1986 mustang gt in sc

I've decided to sale this car as I'm wanting to get another coupe. I'll start with the bad, needs a new dash pad, speedo doesn't work, gas gauge doesn't work, with the ac on it drains a little water out of the floor vent, and it's a slow car.
Now about the car, it's pretty much all stock aside from an o/r h-pipe, flowmasters, and msd cap and rotor button. It has brand new black cobra r's with brand new tires. It's also been lowered as well. The ac blows ice cold, I just put all new weather stripping throughout the entire car. Has a 3" cowl hood the color of the hood is a little off from the rest of the car. It's an all around great driving car, I drove it 200 + miles down to mustang week and haven't had a bit of trouble, I can run the ac in traffic and the temp stays fine without over heating. I'm unsure which gear it has in the rear end but it seems to get really good gas mileage. I'm asking $5000 obo don't be afraid to make an offer but at the same time I'm not starving.

Depends on who is buying it! I can't make a fair assessment based on the information. I would have to really look the car over. It's not an outrageous starting price!

Thanks for your honesty. It's no show car by no means and I won't be upset if I don't sale it. If it don't sale it'll be going under the knife over the winter.

I'm not sure yet I'm torn between a 302 based, efi Windsor, or a mod motor. I can't decide, whatever it ends up being it will have ac, it's to hot in sc in the summer and I don't like burning up nor do the ladies.

True that on the A/C!! I live in the WI and its been a very hot summer up here this year.

If I may offer a friendly suggestion, I suggest the mod motor for a few reasons! One, technology- cant beat it. Two, the 4.6 four valve in my opinion is one of the best looking engines ever produce by ford. Three, it's dirt cheap to build a forged bottom end right now with 03/04 parts becoming readily available and at very reasonable prices. Four, I am doing this very swap right now and the cool thing is, it opens up other options for the future like a coyote motor swap
