The car is not forsale right now, I am taking the turbo off and putting in a Tremec and full exhaust and A/C, the car has been fun, but being 41 and a 3 year old that likes to ride with dad, I would enjoy it alot more toned down a little.

Motor, fuel, electonics.
72 model 302, .030 over, stock rods, forged crank, TRW forged 10.4 cc dome pistons, small hydraulic N/A cam, GT40 Y303 aluminum heads, ARP head studs, Felpro 9333pt1 head gaskets, motorsport roller rockers, Parker Funnel Web intake, Demon 650cfm blow through carb, vent tube extensions, adjustable air bleeds, 72/85 jets, PVCR opened up, 130 stainless steel needle and seats for E85, Aeromotive 1:1 boost reference regulator, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, Aeromotive 100 micron pre-filter, rear sump tank, with factory gauge. -10AN feed with -6AN return. MSD 6A box, MSD Blaster coil, MSD timing master boost retard, NGK TR6ix iridium plugs, UEGO 2000 wideband with tach playback. Autometer Tach with light, Sunpro boost gauge. I installed the late model serpentine set-up on the 72 block, all accessories are new including the mini-starter and I added a brushed aluminum coolant overflow. Griffin aluminum radiator, flex-o-lite electric fan, It also has solid motor and trans mounts.
Compression on motor calculates to 9.4:1
DIY kit using BBK headers with cross over pipe in front of motor. Turbo is Master Power 70mm with .70 A/R compressor and .68 A/R turbine, with NO issues, Greddy knockoff wastegate with 8 lbs spring (but it has boost controller). Turbosmart manual boost controller, Greddy knockoff Blow off valve. Extreme Velocity carb. hat. FMS oil filter relocate. 3.5 down pipe down the passenger side into a single bullet muffler stopped at about the rear axle. O2 is in the down pipe 24 inches from turbo.
Everything is T-bolt clamps and silicone couplings.
Built C5 fresh rebuild, upgraded to 5 forward red clutches, BTE 9-1/2in. converter, reverse Manual valve body, pan fill, deep pan. Trans is bench fresh and 100%.
Stock 8.8 with traction-lock and 3:08 gear with new wheel seals and wheel bearings, and pinion seal.
All new brakes, replaced all rubber lines, front and rear, all new shocks and struts, original springs in front with 1 coil cut, V-8 springs in the rear with 1 coil cut.
Weld drag-lites fronts are 15x3.5 with brand new tires, Rears are 15x8, 5.5 backspace brand new, with 255/60/15 Mickey Thomson drag radials. The drag radial are new also.
When the motor was installed the car got a new radiator, new fan, new fan clutch, new water pump new alternator, new pulleys, new tensioner, belt, 180 thermostat, upper and lower hoses, all camps and heater hoses, mini starter, I also installed a new oil pump when I installed the oil return in the pan.
The car is 1 of 42 red on red coupes in 83. It is 100% original paint, the mileage shows 66k, and the car was sold to me as this being correct but who knows? I’m am the 3rd owner, never in a accident, it does have it fair share of door dings. Where the drivers rear quarter meets the bumper cover/tail light there is some body damage, look like it was a dent then a previous owner tried to push out?
Super solid car, there is some very light surface rust under both door and under the trunk lid.
It is very minor, I knew to look at these areas when I bought the car and they did not concern me.
Paint shines up nice and the car shows very well, but the paint is 28 years old.
It has a 4 in bolt on hood, I did not prep it at all, just put it on, the original hood comes with the car.
Interior is all original. The drivers seat could use recovering and it needs a headliner. All the factory gauges work except tach. Wipers, lights, turn signals, horn, heater/defrost, radio all work as they should.
Car drives nice at 25-50-75-100mph, drives straight, does not pull, no shakes or rattles, shifts smooth, it really has very good street manners.
I was going to put the A/C back on, but the compressor I had was bad, It was cheaper at the time to buy the eliminator pulley, but the condenser is there and all the brackets are there or I have them for the compressor. You would need a compressor and all 3 lines.
I have had the car to the track a couple of times, the first the trans went out while I was getting a good tune so I never got a #, the second time it went

This was 8 lbs with 30* 11.1-11.3 AFR and Renegade 110
Next pass I put it on 15 lbs and did not take anymore timing out and blew a head gasket. Of coarse the head gasket was replaced and I change the intake and carb hat, have not been back to the track since. Those #s were with a duel plane intake and a low profile carb hat. The car has seen 20 lbs on the street. Trust me at 8 lbs there is a lot left on the table.
Right now the car is running on gas 93-116, I have done everything to go to E85, there is a little 110 left in the tank, I will change when it is gone.
Car comes with a full jet kit and air bleed kit. I will help anyone with the learning curve if needed the best I can.
