Hello, all! I'm putting my rebuilt 1986 SVO up for sale. I've had a lot of fun with this project but now I have the itch to move on to another. Now that I finally have this SVO to the point where it drives better than ever and I'm satisfied with the power...I'm bored and want something new to play with.
I may not check this forum as often so I encourage interested buyers to email to me at [email protected]
Additional pictures, video, test drives are certainly welcome. Ask and ye shall receive.
All in all it has everything needed to easily support over 300hp to the wheels with a good tune and maybe a larger intercooler. The main limiting factor now is fuel management. So here's the lowdown...
-Rebuilt head with Boport 1.5 cam and complete Boport top end kit (with oversized valves and performance springs) and 5 angle valve job, less than 500 miles and magnufluxed so itβs crack free
-Evergreen rebuilt t3/t4 turbo custom built to match this setup, less than 500 miles
-Remanufactured bottom end from Jasper, less than 15k miles
-New stock clutch installed at the same time as the new block
-PE Computer (also have a spare unknown ECU, can be used as a MS core)
-Bobβs Log 4th gen header
-Merkur Depot 3β downpipe and straight 3β exhaust to a 3β Magnaflow muffler dumped at the axle (also includes Stinger 3β over-the-axle and rear exit pipes not installed)
-Motorcraft TFI and PIP installed with less than 100 miles on them
-PLA alternator wiring upgrade
-New stock alternator
-Forced 4 CAI with bypass valve
-65mm TB with Forced 4 adapter kit
-255 in tank fuel pump installed in β06
-Gillis adjustable boost controller
-Forced 4 valve cover evac. Kit
-New front calipers and rebuilt rear calipers
-Comes with new front rotors NIB, installed rotors are machined to fit with the *PRE 05 bullitt wheels
-17β bullitt wheels (pre 05) with about 80% tread Nitto 555 on the rear and 60% tread on the front
-New power steering pump (parts store quality so it causes a slight bogging at idle)
-A/C has been removed, but components are included
-Exhaust needs to be finished by fitting the axle back pipes and installing a proper hanger after the downpipe (the axle pipes fit, just need to trim the mid pipe a bit to line up)
-Burns up about a quart of oil per 250 miles and gives off a small puff of oil smoke after shifting (most likely from an improperly installed valve stem seal)
-Bumper was recently killed by a biga$$ truck in the parking lot, but repaired perfectly and paint matched very well
-Only rust is at the inside bottom of both doors, needs new dew wipes
-Electronic door locks do not work
Asking $6,200 OBO. Reasonable offers will certainly be considered. Low-ball offers will be ignored.
I will also consider a trade for a clean 4.0 Jeep Wrangler
