1986 Black LX notch 5.0 5 speed 48,000 miles NJ

SOLD

I am putting my 1986 Mustang up for sale. I have owned this car for 11 years now and it has 48,000 original miles. It is currently in original unrestored condition. Black exterior with charcoal cloth interior. It is an original 5 liter 5-speed factory AC delete car. Absolutely no rust anywhere and body has never been repaired. Paint is very shiny and looks great. Interior is in excellent condition.

The engine is no longer fuel injected and the gas tank has been replaced with a 12 gallon fuel cell. Braided fuel lines replaced the factory lines. I did the conversion myself and kept all of the original parts including the fuel tank (all original parts will go with the car).

Engine:

-Stock '86 short block
-custom FTI/Ed Curtis cam
-Trick Flow Twisted Wedge street heads
-Ford Motorsport roller rockers
-Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake
-Holley 650 carb
-Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
-MSD dizzy, Blaster coil, & 6AL ignition box
-Mallory fuel pump
-1 5/8" short tube unequal length ceramic Hooker headers
-2 1/2" inch exhaust with Dynomax Ultra-Flo mufflers
-Poly mounts

Trans:

-Ford World Class T-5
-FMS Cobra clutch
-FMS steel throw out bearing sleeve
-UPR short throw shifter
-Adjustable clutch cable
-Poly trans mounts
-Poly crossmember mounts

Rear:

-Moser 31 spline axles (installed by Briante Motorsports)
-extended wheel lugs (installed by Briante Motorsports)
-Auburn differential (installed by Briante Motorsports)
-3.73 Ford Motorsport gears (installed by Briante Motorsports)
-HPM upper & lower control arms

Front suspension & brakes:

-Adjustable Strange struts
-87-93 front spindles, rotors, brakes lines & pads

Chassis:

-Global West tubular subframe connectors (installed by Briante Motorsports)
-Wild Rides torque boxes
-Driveshaft safety loop

It's a very simple setup that worked real good when I still had a Holley 750 double pumper, a Performance Automatic C4, long tube headers, and no power steering (ran a best of 11.72 @ the 1/4).

My plan was to return the car to fuel injection but I just don't think I will have the time. I did save all of the EFI parts I removed and they will go with the car. I also have the stock hood. The only parts I know I don't have is the factory catalytic converter h-pipe and stock 10 hole rims.

There may be some details I left out so please ask any questions you may have. Price is $6200 o/b/o. Thanks for reading.

Did you cut a hole in the floor to fit the fuel cell?
Thanks

Yes...part of the bottom of the spare tire well was cut in order to fit the fuel cell. I did save the part I cut. It can be welded back in but you would need some additional metal because I had to trim the hole after the initial piece was cut in order to make the fuel cell fit.
