1982 Twin Turbo True Street Race Car..1000+ HP

I'm listing this for my friend Brian. Any questions please call him direct @ 508-345-0403 or reply to this post and I will post up the response for him.

Hard to describe how nice this car is. Approx 70K original miles on 82 Mustang GT, factory T-top car. VIN # 1FABP16F9CF227751.

No expense was spared building it, all the best parts were used. Car is very streetable and tuned to support up to 30 psi ~1400 rwhp Original owner had the car built to it's current state, and it currently lives in a car trailer where it's been kept since taking ownership. This car is rarely driven and would make a killer street or race car for someone who has the time for it. Asking $25K. May entertain partial trades.

New Price $20K

LOL, and I can confirm it's a beast. I went for a quick ride in it yesterday around the block, and it's insane even on low boost. It's hard to describe unless you ride in it. As for streetability, the car was built for true street. Just take off the shoots and bars and put on a plate, LOL. That's what's great about turbo's. It has a big fuel cell so you can drive it around no problem. The quality of the build must be seen as well. It was done right.

LOL. seeing that your local, I'm sure if you went an saw it and got a ride you'd be buying it. I can't even imagine how much it would cost to duplicate this car. Whoever buys it is getting a smokin deal.

Nice looking unit.

to pull the motor it has to come out the bottom?
can the ecu have different tunes onboard?

That is a lot of car for the money.

The paint may not be for everybody but even with a fresh coat of paint it is still great price.

Cost to duplicate would be 3-4x that.

Good luck with sale.

Hi my name is Rick..This car is back up for sale..I bought this evil car about a month ago..This car has way to much power for me.I did not know what i was getting myself into..
I can tell you this the car is very street friendly I have drove to several car shows and have used the car in traffic etc.. The gt runs in temps of 180 degrees and the oil temp i have ever seen it move to only 140 degrees,,This is a very nice car and the craftsmanship is very very unspeakable..[ must be seen to app.]
I have all receipts and i stopped counting at $80k..Thats right $80k
However this car has waaayy to much power for me and i have it set at 10 lbs of boost..I have contacted the builder and he is willing to take with anyone who has this car,,His name is David and is a very nice southern guy to talk with...
I am looking to get $25k and im pretty firm on the price..However i will take trades for a milder car,,,Or cash is king because i am in the process of buying a Porsche 930 trubo widebody...
If you are looking for a early gt that is absolutely amazing This is the one well over 1000hp
The builder said the car car produce 1300hp at 25pounds of boost on c16.I will say you would have to be crazy to even try. At 10pounds this car is a missle

Snorman,,I am asking the $25k because i have done alot of work to the car that was needed and not mentioned in the previous sale... I fiqured i would just reply to the thread that was already started because there was some interest in the car,, This car has some serious work done to it.You really have to see the car in person to really appreciate the workmanship and hours spent on the car,Besides the close to $90 cost of build,
I have all the paper work and receipts for this..
I am not worried to make a profit I have money I am just looking to sell the car for what i have invested and put that towards my twin turbo 911 project..I didnt realise what i was getting into. This car has way to much power for me..

I dont really know alot of history on the car,I know it did a nmra series and the car has also had a photo shots and a write up in Mustangs and fast ford magazine which i do have.I did talk to the owner who built the car and he has run the car..The best the car went was 7.90 on mickey thompson drag radials And will run in the low to mid 8ts at 20ty-25 pounds of boost on c16 with a 370 rear gear ratio all day...
I personally never took it to the track or raced the car.I bought the car because i always wanted to own it and see what it was all about. And for the price i paid you can not duplicate the money or work that is into it..
However i think it was a mid life crisis.I have had plenty of serious drag/quick street cars in my time and wanted to give it one more go and realised that its no longer for me anymore

Thank you very much for the kind words about the car...And on the Storman note...He has all those cars that he sopposely owns..LOL Yea sure...Well you know what the women say about a guy with too many cars don't you..That will prouably explain on how his actions are on here towards others,He has too much built up..And his panties are in a bunch.

Now i am no snorman, and i am seriously interested in this car so please explain to me how you ended up paying 25k for the car when the price had been lowered to 20 k?
I have to make a business trip to n.y.c. next month and i have a free day to do whatever i please and would like to possibly see the car. I dont want to waste my time if a 20k offer wont buy the car. please let me know.

Hi Friend..Unlike snorman.I do not lowball or tirekick or degrade others..The person that i bought the car from is a friend of mine.He was asking $25k for the car...
I had a nice Checkmate offshore boat that he wanted that i was selling..
So i gave him $20k and the boat to make up the extra $5k. The boat was worth way more..Plus after i bought the car we added some more to it Costing about $4800
I would of prefered to give him the straight cash,However i hardly used the boat anyway and it went to a good home.Pretty much i gave the boat to him because i could of just givin him The $20ty he was asking. The car was worth way more,Like posted eariler I stopped counting receipts at $80k

STORMAN,,Did you get that for your little notebook? $4800 not $5k wooo $200 profit.....No profit more like a little loss,And i will tell you that you can never build this car for that price i am selling it for..

Thanks for the interest bud..
