Immaculate Black 86 Coupe...

Purchased this car about 6 months ago from it's original owner and it has been in storage ever since. The car has been down here in South Florida it's whole life and was pampered by it's original owner. Was going to use this as a daily driver, but it really is too nice to let sit out in the parking lot at work for 8-10 hours a day. The car is bone stock with the exception of some mufflers welded in (not sure of the brand but they sound like a 3 chamber flowmaster). It is black with gray interior and the only deviation from stock on the inside is the black carpeting...which looks better in my personal opinion. The car still retains the stock stereo, as well as having a dash pad that IS NOT cracked!! Also, the armrest pad in the center console actually opens and closes....meaning the latch actually works! The motor is all stock and is attached to a smooth shifting aod. The car has been repainted and is done RIGHT!! Previous owner spent over 7 grand on a paint job over 6 yrs ago! Looks just like factory...if not better! The car will also come with brand new from Ford side moldings that the previous owner had purchased new from Ford back in the 80's knowing that he was keeping this car for a while.

The original 10 holes were sent out to be professionally polished and they look fantastic. Also, the previous owner just put 4 new tires on it before I got it...so they are in great shape! The a/c blows ice cold as well. Basically, EVERYTHING on this car works. I would not hesitate to hop in it and drive anywhere!

Asking price is $7200obo or I might even entertain a trade for another mustang plus cash...since I will be having a baby soon and freeing up some cash would come in handy. Remember, I'm not looking to trade straight up...just another mustang plus some cash. I understand that I will not be getting a car in this condition, but I don't have time for a full-on project car either.

Let me know if I can answer any questions you may have. Also, the car is currently in storage so if you need a certain picture of something in particular, it'll probably have to wait til the w-ends since I work a lot during the week. Thanks!

chuckb - mileage is 101,00 and as far as the seats, not really sure to be honest with you. The original owner never told me that they were swapped out...and I have no reason to believe that they were. At any rate, they are in great condition!

fggnfast - responded to your pm

That is the same style seats I had when I got my 86 back in Highschool, nice ride man, that would look sick with a set of skinny fats!

I thought 85-86 had the same interior but maybe I'm wrong. this is what the seats looked like in my 85 coupe that was almost identical to yours. nice car for sure though man, good luck. if you want me to delete this from your thread just let me know.

Hmmm...interesting. Not really sure if they were the same cause I've always had GT seats in my 85's. Either way, the seats are super clean with no rips.

hey fellow mdpd officer thanks for the phone call. clayton is the owner of the coupe. he is the one i met with at sawgrass mills mall to look at and drive the car. i believe his wife is the real owner since her name is on the title. just to clear the little confusion up. if anyone on here thinks something fishy is going on give me a call at 305-213-2000 or call the police station at 305-279-6929 and ask for officer booker. you can leave a message. thanks guys for all the calls and info. r. booker mdpd
