86 Regatta Blue Roller - The car is too nice to use as a parts car or to swap parts around. No motor or transmission.
The body is straight, but it could have been sanded more before it was painted. Was blue with gray bottom from factory. The mold will sand off and polish out. The car has a base / clear paint job. The front nose is perfect.
The rust is on the drivers door seam, under hatch, and the top passenger door hinge area (very odd). The floors are perfect. No rust or cracks. Frame rails straight.
The interior could use a steam cleaning, but is complete. The radio opening is not butchered. The drivers seat leans to the center.
Everything in the engine compartment is complete. Drop in a motor and transmission, plug in the electronics and drive.
In the hatch is most of the accesories for the motor. Distributor, hearders, air box, computer, lower intake, and some other parts.
I put a battery to the car and everything works except the drivers power door lock.
The car has a Mustangs Unlimited suspension kit that consists of Eibach springs, Tokico struts and shocks, Griiggs or BBK upper and lower rear control arms, and alum camber caster plates. It has subframe connectors with seat braces.
It also has the 87 and up larger front brakes and the Turbo Coupe disc brake rearend. The rear conversion is really nice, with all Ford parts used for the emergency brake cables.
The car does have a salvage title because the last owner was a dumb a** and got the car impounded for driving w/o insurance. This was in 2005 after Katrina when the state was going crazy. He either had to pay a $500 fine and prove insurance or take a salvage title and take the car off the road. Guess what he did? The car did not have any water damage. It lived about 1/2 mile from me and I stayed dry. He did register the car and had it back on the road until he pulled the motor.
The car will be sold with 10 hole rollers. Shipping from zipcode 70123
