You do realize most if not all older stangs are going to need some rust repairs to them (unlike playing with a newer mustang)??

That said, I have 2. A 66 Mustang coupe, already has a 9" in it and already has full boxed 2x3" frame ties ran through the floor boards.. Has new fenders with it also. It isnt a perfect car by any means, but IS a perfect car to build a race car out of.. I would fab up a front frame, put different front suspension on it (mustang 2 or some type of racing light weight suspension and brakes) and put a full cage in it...
I also have a 69 Fastback that is a more solid car. Both are in pieces (meaning all torn apart) but I have all the parts for both (except the 66 has no good interior).
I'd be interested in swapping body/chassis' with you on the 66 or if your interested in the 69 I would only be interested for your car running.. (My 69 fastback is easily worth 4k on Ebay all day long). I am in PA though and I wouldnt be interested in driving out to where you are.. I could meet you in or near Columbus Ohio at the end of November though..
Let me know
