Gauging Interest: 1978 Mustang II CONVERTIBLE

Yes you read right, a 1978 convertible. The car is an lx with a 5.0 and is like new condition. I believe it has about 120k on it. I am personaly not in possession of the car yeat, just wanted to stir up some water and see if I could get some offers going to see what this thing might be worth. This is a dealer option. Ford sent 44 mustang II's to Emmess Coachbuilders in Florida In 78. They were all various trim packages. They were then turned into convertibles and sent to various dealers across the nation. I have one. any takers?

Are you sure it's a '78? There was no "LX" model that I ever heard of, and they weren't referred to as a "5.0" back then either - just 302. The only exception was the "King Cobra" which had "5.0" decals on the hood scoop. You really should try to get some pics up, if you expect anyone to take you seriously!
