Mustang II for sale *ohio*

selling for a buddy at work, i belive its a 78. it has some motorwork done, cam, holley carb, intake, full exaust, 4sp manual, 9inch rear with a full locker and i belive 4:56gears, a really nice set of centerlines with perfect tires. the car is an incomplete project, it is driveable.. the guages need fixed or hooked up and there is a leak at the header causing a tick under load and need some window moldings. it also comes with a matching hood and a street scoop.

not sure what its worth so make an offer, come see it..whatever

thanks,
matt

Price flexible?
Any track times with the car?
Stock 302 heads on the car?
Whats the duration on the cam, what type of intake/carb?

i really dont know whats all done to the car, i think it has a holley carb and a edelbrock intake... motor looks really clean and was supposed to been rebuilt so it could have some windsor heads, cam sounds really healthy also.. my buddy bought the car a few months ago and it has been sitting in a garage for awhile before that as a project car.

i will have to keep the price firm at $2800 since this is a very clean rust free car with plenty of nice parts, you are more then welcome to come and look at it or drive it.

thanks

So its the original 302 from '78? Do the numbers match? And how does it run/drive? No under body rust at all? Has your friend restored the car at all or was he going to? And is he looking for any trades?

not sure about the motor, i know it is pretty fast... i have no idea to tell if the numbers match.. ill have to check underneith the car, my friend got the car just as it sits, he dont even know how to drive stick and has never drove the car, me and his dad are the only ones, the car needs some moldings and seals.

What do you mean fast? Have a estimate of whp or 1/4 mile times? I was thinking about putting a blower on my 5.0 but if yours is fast enough I might like to have your friends car. It just depends on a few things. If the #'s match, if its fast or not and what ALL needs to be done to the car. How is the tranny, is the carb ok, injectors...ya know all that stuff. Thanks

oh yea and if its the original motor with 139hp I probably wont want the car. But depending on how quick it is with the cam/carba and exhaust might make me want to get it. Also can you send some more pictures to [email protected] I'd like to see more of the car.

the car has much more then 139hp.. i think it would max out before the 1/4 mile considering the gears and a 4 speed. the car is what it is.... its a $2800 mustang II not a shelby gt500 lol, you live no more then 2 hours away so just come up and look at it and take it for a drive, that will tell you more then i can.
