My only reason for selling is, I put an offer in on a foreclosed lake house and they accepted my low ball offer. Need money for down payment to make it all work.

1966 mustang Pro street / resto mod / muscle freak
I bought and titled this car in Summerville south carolina in June 09 from the second owner, its a factory blue car with baby blue and dark blue two toned interior, Factory A/C car with vinal top.
Body/interior Stunning Vista blue (ford G9 color)
Interior off white brand new reproduction, dash pad, seat covers, headliner, door pannels, kick pannels(with speakers), package tray(w speakers), wind lace.
Blue carpet and reproduction seat belts (drivers seat has cam lock 4 point harness)
All chrome and emblems are brand new reproductions, the only original trim is the grill moulding, and the rockers. Everything else and I mean everything is brand new.
Hood is a 3.5" cowl and had hundreds of $$$ in prep work and looks and fits like factory! And yes its a full bolt on with hinges and front latch, springs are Shelby light weight for the glass hood
Doors, fenders and quarter pannels are the original ones that came on the car in 1966.
No rust on frames ever but minor work was done to Drivers floor and wheel wells (done b4 I owned it)
NOTE>>>> The cowl was replaced in June of 2010, after the hood flew up and damaged it. The ENTIRE cowl was replaced! It was not rusted, but had to be replaced because the vent grilles were severely damaged. STATE FARM paid $3400 to have this replaced as they viewed the hood blowing off as an accident! This is a very expensive and necessary repair on all early mustangs! AND ITS DONE FOR YOU!
Chassi. Brand new front and rear suspension, 4 leaf rear (stock height +1") rear traction is handled by a brand new set of comp engineering "slide-a-link" these are $400. Front suspension is stock (and all new) but front springs are moog 8006 with one coil removed, The shelby drop was performed and the front shocks are comp engineering 3 way adjustable.
Drive shaft is a custom 3.5" with 1350 ends (rated to 800hp)
Engine compartment has Montecarlo bar (chrome and adjustable) and an xport brace
Sub fram connected with Tinman contoured frame connectors (slide into the front sub frame)
Front and rear brakes are Disk and are from SSBC (stainless steel brake company) this was a $1600 kit, and yes they are power brakes.
Wheels are weld wheels 15x3.5 front and 15x8 rear drag lites.
Rear is a Moser housing narrowed 3.5" (1.75" from each side) Spool is strange, gear is 4.00 and axle spline is 33 (yes rear disks with braided lines)
Heater is all brand new, and works perfectly, Sterio is brand new and fits in factory dash hole. Glove box door NEW, glove box liner NEW, gauge cluster NEW, Tach NEW all switches and chrome dash trim NEW, Shifter handle and bezzel NEW
Engine and trans NEW about 100 miles now!
Trans, full competition c4 from redneck racing, reverse pattern manual valve body with BRAKE! Converter is a 9.5" billit custom from Atlantic Coast Converters. Stalls at 4000 rpms.

THE NITROUS KIT IS A ZEX PERIMITER JETTED AT 125 AND HAS NOT BEEN TESTED OR PURGED
COOLING IS HANDLED BY A 16" 2500 CFM FAN AND A 67 ALUMINUM 3 CORE RADIATOR.
FULE SYSTEM IS 1/2" ALUMINUM FRONT TO REAR WITH A HOLLEY BLACK PUMP AND MALLORY REGULATORS (NITROUS AND FUEL REGULATORS)
FABRICATED VALVE COVERS (THAT DONT SEAL VERY WELL!)
HIGH VOLUME ALUMINUM WATER PUMP AND BILLIT MARCH PULLIES THROUGOUT, POWER MASTER 130 AMP 1 WIRE ALTERNATOR, BATTERY IS IN THE TRUNK AND IS A OPTIMA RED TOP!
Exhaust is hooker super comps 1.75 diameter swap headers with header wrap($650), 2.5" aluminized front to back with 3" stainless megs at the end 24"long! System has cut outs just past the collector!
car is not caged and does not have a bar, interior is bone stock! and mint condition!
When the nitrous is turned on this car will dip into the 9 second zone, my calculations are about a 9.90
This car is not drag legal, at these speeds it will need a full cage and the fuel line re-ran (it currently runs up the trans tunnel and has a regulator mounted on the firewall, both will have to be changed to make it nhra legal) The rest of the car qualifies, meaning the axles pass, it has a safety loop.
I have invested over 30k in the past 24 months building this car, but now I am moving onto a street rod!
This is the nicest and cheapest low 10second street car you will ever see or own.
