68 fuel injected Coupe GT-40

1968 Mustang with a 351 SVO GT- 40 Fuel Injected Crate Motor Car, C-6 trans and a 3.55 Posi 9 inch Rear.
This car has over $10,000.00 in upgrades professionally installed by Crazy Horse Mustang Inc. From N.J.
This car was built by Crazy Horse due to a death in the family, this car was built, then parked in a garage since 2000 (See photo of the inspection sticker below.)
This is a great Promod/Street/Strip combination. The car runs and drove very strong (Probably a low 13 second car)
* 351 SVO GT- 40 Fuel Injected Crate Motor
* GT- 40 Upper Fuel injection system
* Downs Racing Billet Fuel Rail
* Comp. Headers
* Dual Exhaust
* Rebuilt C-6 Trans with a shift kit
* 9 Inch Posi Rear with 3.55 gears
* New Battery
* New hood
* New Front Valance and front bumper
* New Racing Shocks
* New Fuel lines
* New Brakes ( Need to bleed again from sitting)
* GT Wheels and Trim
* Vintage venom / Cobra brake conversion with Cobra disk brakes and master cylinder. The rear still has drums on it but I have all the parts for the rear conversion. This vintage venom kit allows the use of 1994 - 2004 mustang GT rims. I have a set of 17 inch rims on the front and have matching for the rear. It fills the wheel well nice and gives it a great stance.

* Additional Parts... New Front and rear springs, 2.5" Exhaust, Iceman Cool Airsystem, Misc. Chrome and Bushings
Car was once restored. Only one layer of paint is on the car. Passenger floor board had water sitting and rusted. I purposely dug out the hole to ensure the frame rail was in tact with no rust. Overall the body, frame, trunk are solid. The interior is in good condition. (the interior is apart but I have everything besides the rug.

Please note that this car is NOT road worthy at this time. It starts just fine but the rear brakes needs to be completed and the interior is out of the car. I have all the parts to complete the rear drum conversion.

See link to photo bucket for detailed pictures http://s686.photobucket.com/albums/v.../68%20mustang/

I will trade only for a 67-68 fastback (roller doesnt matter) , 70 chevelle or another restomod, hot rod vehicle.

I have a complete Eleanor body kit that I was going to install on the car for an additional $1700. This car will be sweet once completed.

Updated the ad since I am selling as a roller

1968 Mustang Coupe Roller for sale $3,500 or best offer. Will Trade.

I purchased this coupe 1.5 years ago, had 2 kids and no time to work on 3 cars. One has to go. This car was running, titled, and insured. My intention was to make this an Eleanor clone, than I found a 68 mustang fastback roller that I could not pass up. (All Eleanor parts are now sold.) I am planning to swap parts from this running coupe to my 68 fastback. The car is still for sale complete, but I need $7,000 firm as is! By the end of May, I will swap the rears, front brakes, master cylinder, motor, battery and battery wires and All EFI components from this running coupe. The front brakes, rear and master cylinder are in good condition coming from the fastback.

This car was once restored. Only one layer of paint is on the car. Passenger floor board had water sitting it rusted. I purposely dug out the hole to ensure the frame rail was in tact with no rust (see pictures). Overall the body, frame, trunk are solid. I purchased the floor boards for the car and it will come with the car. You will need to install. I had 2 shop estimated at $800 - $900 to install. The interior is in good condition but not show quality. The Stock seats have missing bolts that will need to be installed so you can mount to the floor. There is a small tear on a seam in one of the seats. The interior is apart but I have everything besides the rug and glove compartment. The car body needs paint and body work. It’s NOT a rust bucket. I suggest you come see the car or ask me to take detailed pictures. I am not a classic mustang expert!

A little more detail.
Originally a 6 cylinder car, someone converted it to a GT.
No motor
8 inch rear
Manual steering rack
4 wheel Drum brakes
Dual Exhaust but has a broken brackets. Car will come with new dual exhaust
Rebuilt C-6 Trans with a shift kit
New hood
New Front Valance and front bumper
New Racing Shocks
New Fuel lines
Additional Parts not installed... New Front and rear springs, 2.5" Exhaust, Misc. Chrome and Bushings,* New left and right floor boards

Off the top of my head, the car will need the following:
• Motor and accessories, Battery and Battery cables, Glove compartment, Some brake lines, reinstall master cylinder, Reinstall interior, paint and body work, floor boards installed. If your anal and want a show car, get all new chrome for the car. I encourage you to view the car in person or ask me specific questions that I may have not covered in this ad.

See link to photo bucket for detailed pictures of the car in its current state before swapping parts. http://s686.photobucket.com/albums/v.../68%20mustang/

I will trade for paint and body work or a mini tubbed 8.5 certified fox mustang roller.
