67 coupe project, nearly finished.

I bought this car as a basket case in January 1997. When purchased it had been sitting in a field with no motor, trans or wheels sitting on blocks since 1982. As you can see it has come a long way. The car had almost no rust due to the warm and dry local climate. The car was painted in 2000 using Glasurit two stage paint. All the exterior trim and bumpers are new reproductions. The hood is a reproduction and the passenger fender is also a repro.

Here are the peticulars.

Motor:
306 roller block, zero deck. Short block has about 2,500 miles on it from a previous 5.0 buildup.
TRW forged pistons
ARP rod bolts
ARP head studs
AFR 165 heads, 58cc chambers, brand new.
Harland sharp 1.6 stud mount roller rockers
Hardened pushrods
Trick Flow stage 1 cam
Performer RPM air gap manifold
Demon 625 cfm carb
Pertronix billet distributor.
Ford 50 oz SFI balancer
Edelbrock water pump.

Transmission is a 93 Cobra spec T-5z. Brand new valeo clutch. Cable style clutch conversion from Modern driveline.

Rearend is a Ford 9 inch 28 spline, 3:89 gears with Detroit Locker diff. 0 miles. Housing was bead blasted to bare and shot semi gloss black.

Suspension and steering are 100% new with zero miles. Mustangs plus components throughout. Large sway bars front and rear.

Brakes are also 100% new. I bought a master drum rebuild kit from Mustangs Plus and replaced everything. Stainless brake lines throughout. All rubber lines also new.

The interior still has its original upholstery. Original black headliner is mint, package tray is mint. Passenger seat is original and with no tears and the driver has a 4 inch long tear along the seat bottom seam, its still original and I wasn't going to fix it. New carpet, dash pad, dash trim and instrument bezels and lenses.

The car hasn't been run, it needs some wiring hooked up, a driveshaft built and many other minor things. It is a project, but as you can see the stuff it needs are relatively minor. Just about everything is new.

Reason for selling is to pay off some debt and buy a home for my family. Sorry guys, no trades. Price is 9,000 firm.

The underhood and headlight/alternator harnesses are brand new and the alternator and starter are by Powermaster. I don't have the rear Draglites since the rearend was the last major part I rebuilt. I didn't want to buy wheels/tires until the axle was installed and I could measure the fitment properly. The rocker trim is included and in the closet inside my house.

Brand new 3" stainless Magnaflow complete exhaust with X-pipe also included. Headers are new Hookers uncoated.

does the car have any rust in it and what all is left as far as to be able to drive it do you have any pics of the interior?

There is a tiny speck on the bottom front of the driver door. Probably 1/4 inch diameter or less. The doors were both stripped to bare metal and the metal was thin where the rust is, but was solid at that time. You can't even really tell its there because of the stripe. The floors are fine. Cars don't rust here like in other parts of the country. This machine was built in Ca and been here all its life.

I'll get some interior shots today.

Would be willing to sell as a roller also.
