305ci Big Bore 4.6L DOHC Long Block and more

305 ci Big Bore 4.6L DOHC Long Block.

This is a fresh build that has never been fired.

Production 03-04 Mach 1/Marauder block dry sleeved to 3.700 bore, Forged Cobra/ 5 sp. Mach 1 crank, Manley billet I-beam rods, Diamond forged 15cc dished pistons, ARP main and head studs, .051 Cometic head gaskets, FR500 heads (not ported), FR500 valve train, Crower stage 1 turbo cams (see Spec Card), Canton 7 Qt. oil pan. New oil pump and pick up.

Not installed but can be included if wanted is a Canton windage tray (will require modifying oil pick up tube), and a DSS Main support girdle. I did not install the girdle because to do so you have to remove main studs reducing it from 4 bolt main caps with side bolts to 2 bolt main caps with side bolts.

Compression calculates to 9.09:1.

Included is a Marauder engine wire harness and coil packs, Marauder Fuel rails with stock 18 lb injectors, stock throttle body and your choice of Marauder or Mach 1 intake. The Mach 1 intake will come with the Mach 1 tubing, stock and C&L mass air meter and K&N conical filter.

More photos are available upon request.

Very motivated asking for $8,000 OBO.

Also available:

Nodular iron Mach 1/Cobra flywheel with fresh Blanchard ground face $50 (would like to wait on selling until the engine sells

Mach 1 stock replacement clutch with about 500 miles on it. $75

Tremec TR-3650 5sp Transmission out of a Mach 1 (2nd gear syncro going out) $500

Stock 03 DOHC heads (will need to be cleaned) $750

Stock 03 Mach 1 rear suspension $150

Full stock 03 Mach 1 exhaust (manifold to tailpipes less than 500 miles) $50

Who built the motor?

Would you be interested in just selling the short block?

I will consider selling the short block. I have someone asking about the heads too.

The short block was done by VT Engines in 2004 and has been routinely checked, lubed to prevent rust and wrapped tightly in plastic to keep it clean.

Unless if I have someone interested in both the short block and heads I am not considering separating any longer.
