Lq4 Bearing and piston ring information.

Looking for part numbers on the correct bearings for rods, and mains. Also what piston rings should i be getting. All oem spec. Pease. 364ci at 4.000" bore


93 Mustang LX Hatch-351w on3 70mm 9# airgap and 93 and 114 mix. 320hp 520tq. Pulled to 4700. Best 12.9 at 112mph<- Old
New->super vic efi, wilson elbow, f cam, and 15 psi. No times or numbers.

I just had a learning experience on the LQ4. If you have a 2004 and newer the cam bearings are different. I ordered my rings Mahle brand from Rockauto. But mine is a stock rering with a cam.

Its a 03 but thanks on the piston rings. Now to find out what bearings i need.

mine is an 03 lq4 also. I have Mahle rings and went with King Main and Rod bearings

Thanks for the info. Any idea on what hone brush I need. Like grit and material and all.

My machinist told me nothing lower than 240 grit. I bought a 280 flex hone.
