Question for those who have done a 6.0 LSX swap.

What long tube headers did you use? I have a notch with a Racecraft K member in it and I want to run long tube headers, but I am unsure which ones will fit? Also, I would rather not buy $1000 headers as I plan on installing a turbo kit at a later date.

Did you use motor mounts with adjustability to help the headers to fit? I have a TH400 with an AJE adjustable crossmember that may help figment as well.

In the beginning of time most guys used 351w headers and cut the flange off and welded LS1 flanges on them. Fits perfect. I had 4L60e which is a big tranny like the turbo 400.

1/8 6.56 @ 103.23 mph, 1/4 10.37 @ 128.49 mph 1.43 6/06/15
1/8 Nos 6.06 @ 114.71 mph 1.38 12/16/15

I used a AJE kmember and dynatech headers on my first build. On my 6.0L I modified a on3 ford kit my 3rd build i built my own hotside and used flipped truck manifolds

how much are the dyno tech headers? Does summit carry them

'93 gt with edelbrock performer and , gt40x alumium heads ported and polished, crane 1.6 aluminum roller rockers, crane extreme engery cam, mac shorty headers and x-pipe, flowmaster 2 chamber dumped,fenderwell cold air 75 maf pro m maf calibrated for 24s with 24lb injector, 3:55, 255 fuelpump, gears, msd 6al complete ignition setup and slicks.

I bought the Kooks stainless and a lot better header then what I used before. I will be selling one of the other sets that I used for over 7 years
