Arrow Doin it: Sn95~5.3/6.0~th400! Help a brotha out!

Hey guys well after riding in a buddys JUNKYARD DOG (lol) 5.3-lx swap ive been heavily persuaded to do an LS swap mustang. Im picking up a previously built SN95 drag roller on sunday for 1000.00! Car has clean title, looks great and ran very well with a 408/c4 combo. I know some about the ls engines just not the swap. Im not going to ask a million questions and ask how it can be done the cheapest. I have a little chunk of cash to put into the car, im not a cheap a$$ i like my stuff done right. Anyways on to the important stuff......

Ideas i have for this car are 5.3 or 6.0 ls engine. I currently have a 96-04 UPR complete tubular k member kit with coil overs and a arms to install in the roller. UPR sells the adapter plates cheap. I plan on doing a FTI th400 and a nice stall as well. This setup is going to be carburated so i plan on using the edelbrock carb mani with the ls ignition box... I have a brand new Zex perimeter plate i plan on using..

Anyone care to shoot some ideas on what TO buy and what NOT to buy?

What has been a good product and what has been junk?

Camshaft combos?

Goal for the car is a pump gas car with 150shot max. Looking to have a fun streetcar that i can bust some a$$ on the track as well... Lemme know what you guys think and whatever ideas or opinions you have. Thanks!!

I've got 351 headers (cut up and lengthened where needed) and used the UPR plates. I recommend against the plates. They didn't line up, had to be drilled and then cut up and welded to clear my headers. Can't blame them for header clearance but the plates required all that work AFTER they sent me the wrong parts twice

The FTI trans is a really nice piece and Greg was a huge help. Can't recommend them enough. Any other questions feel free to PM me, most of it's pretty straight forward though.
