Whoa! Take easy! My statement was sarcasm put mildly. That was aimed at a certain individual over on the Mix Platform forum who tells everyone he can put a $1000 LS motor in a mustang and run 9s on motor, and I'm not talking about the 1/8 either.

No one knows better than me how much easier and cheaper it is to build a sbf.

I like it! But why would you put a distributor in it instead of use the coil packs?

I've always wondered that too. I think some guys have picked up some power with the dist. setup for some reason, but I'm not 100% sure why?

I think the car looks sick. I don't know why people get their panties in a wad over a LS1 in a Mustang. It's just a car...relax and take a deep breath. To say that the car is ruined is a bit ridiculous. Being he is from Michigan, I'm guessing the No ET on the window is because he races for money at the No ET Nationals at Milan.

theres only 2 reasons to go to the dizzy, if your spinning over 8500rpms and if you want to run a ignition box that has more features.... MSD 7531

very nice/clean install. another reason i went this way just to piss off people that have nothing better to get there panties in a bunch over.

Nice car. Although I have been a die hard Ford fanatic since I took a ride in my neighbors 69 Mach1 428 CJ I am considering swapping an LS into one of my cars. Let's be rational about this, Ford made a couple million Fox Body Mustangs. They are far from rare.

When u use the coil packs you need to run a 6010 msd box and they go bad alot and its just not as dependable......Also with the 6010 box i believe you need a labtop to program in your timing...
