6.0 liter question's

How much abbuse can the stock piston's take? the rod's? what about the Crank an Block?? contemplateing a few different scenario's here.. Sure sounds alot cheaper Than a dart Block.. not to mention the cost of a sbf race head that flows over 320cfm @ .600"

6.0 Blowthru may be in the works..

The stock pistons are the first weak link.
Need to be upgraded to forged.

The rods and crank have been shown to hold 800+ hp
but really anything over 600 fwhp and you are flogging the piss out of em
and dont be surprised if a rod lets go. ARP 2000 rod bolts are supposed to
be a nice upgrade to a stock bottom end as well.

The blocks are good to about 800-1000hp.

They're those hyperpnem..... whatever is pistons

adding any kind of power adder to those things usually melts
a piston sooner or later.

do some searching on LS1truck.com. Lot of guys in there running
6.0L turbo trucks, with good info on what works and for how long.
