foxbody ls swap , started wires question

were did you guys , run your power from to the starter?


91 lx Hatch 6.0(STOCK SHORTBLOCK) LSX 412rwhp
ON 275 RADIALS
10.84 @ 127 on motor
10.18 @ 135 150 shot ( still need tuning)

One wire off the battery to the big post on the starter, and ign power to the small post on the starter is all you need.

YES BUT WHERE DID YOU PULL THE IGNITION POWER SOURCE FROM ?

You need to run 12v to the yellow wire from the ign sw. that ran to the starter solenoid.

Then you have a white/pink wire that runs from your ign switch to a neutral safety switch. Then from what I can tell it changes to a red/green or gray colored wire and this wire runs to the starter solenoid. Then a black wire runs from the solenoid to the starter.

You can just do away with the solenoid and run the red/green or gray wire straight to the starter. This will be 12v only when the key is in start position, like factory.
