Good morning all.

Was at French Lick Thurs. thru Saturday for the annual Bench/Bar conference. The flooding down south is unbelievable.

Pond is finally going down a bit.

A client of mine (I got him custody of his son) owns a skid steer that he said I can use whenever I want for as long as I want. So as soon as it dries out (if ever) I'll be using it a lot.

Good morning all.

Pond is finally lowering a bit and clearing up some, so I can see the breeding boxes for the catfish. Was curious how many eggs are laid and found this little nugget:

Mature catfish can lay 4000 to 100,000 eggs, and breeding males can fertilize as many as nine spawns a season if the eggs are removed from the spawn site each time.

I'm going to be a daddy 100,000 times over if I'm lucky . . .

Good morning everyone and TGIF!!!

Going to get MAIZED tonight and bring it home. I didn't get the opener in but I have the garage organized enough to get it in there.

Looks like it is going to be a hot weekend, but I am not complaining. At least it is not raining!!! State tournament for Gage!

Why mow the grass when you can just get some horses, goats and donkeys to eat all of it? All you need is lots of acres, tens of thousands of dollars for upkeep, fence repairs, and farrier bills, and boom - no more grass mowing!

Well our house sold in a little over 24 hours and OVER asking price last week and this week we had our offered accepted on a new place. Finally getting a 3 car garage.

Only thing that sucks is that our closings won't match up so we'll have to live with my in-laws for about a week.

Congrats, Matt!!! The housing market is crazy right now, and glad to hear it is working out for you. A week is tolerable.

Thanks Brian! If we bring our bats we have a good shot at winning the tournament.

Good morning everyone!

It was a hot weekend but at least it didn't rain. Baseball tournament did not go as planned. The kids just could not put a game together and I think the heat really bothered them. It is already, though, they had a great time.

Good morning all.

Larry I remember several years ago when I was coaching the twins in football our 8th grade team was unstoppable. We were beating everyone badly and then we played a very good team at their place on astro turf and it was in the 90's that day, but probably 100 on that turf. Our team wilted in the heat and had their only loss of the season. It happens.

Spent all weekend trying to jack up the pool deck. The far side of the deck is on the edge of the pond and there's been a bunch of erosion and the deck was sagging. I'd never done anything like that before and geez was it a big and tiring project. Had to do most of it standing in 3 foot of water because its literally on the edge of the pond. Made good progress but still have one more post to go.

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

Hope the rain stays away this long weekend. I need to pressure wash and reseal the concrete driveway. Cant really do it if there is a threat of rain (sealer is not cheap and if it rains on it before it dries completely, it will just wash away.)

Working on some custom, homemade carbon fiber dive planes for the Bolt EV Sport. Has way too much aero push at speed. Need to pin the front end down a bit.

Good morning all.

Client is letting me borrow his skid steer for a couple of weeks and dropping it off Wednesday. Excited to get some dirt and rock moved, and piss off my neighbor in the process.

Good morning everyone!

Brian and Steve - Looks like your outside projects this weekend are going to be hampered slightly by the off and on rain and storms. I am hoping to mow the new sod for the first time tomorrow, but of course, I am not sure the rain is going to let me. I want to make sure that it is dry so I don't tear anything up.

Good morning all.

I'm not too worried about the rain. I'll have the skid steer for a few weeks so I'll be able to do a few hours of work here and there and get it all done.

What's everyone doing tomorrow? We might go downtown, but not sure yet.

Was a nice long, hot Holiday weekend. Still have all my fingers.

Cars and Coffee at IMS this Saturday. Looking forward to it - it will be my first outing with the Bolt EV Sport. Maybe if I am REAL lucky, more people will leave their business cards on my car.......

Good morning everyone!

4 days off went by too fast, but it was still nice.

The weather looks clear for CnC. I was thinking of going to the track Friday night but not sure right now. I have to travel Wed and Thurs so it will be tough to get everything ready for Friday night.

Good morning all.

Does almost rolling over a skid steer count as a good weekend - probably not. But the save was glorious so I can't complain too much. Just another example of me not being nearly as smart as I think I am.

Well CnC has been moved to the lot south of 16th St. Chris says it is partially gravel. Screw that. I am WAY too vain to be dealing with gravel parking lots. So no CnC for me this weekend

Good afternoon all.

Not to humid today for a change.

Have some slight bubbling on the edge of my hood and decided to try and fix it myself. Did not do a good job so I'm going to sand it down and try again. I don't expect it will be perfect, I just don't want it to be so obvious. She's a daily, so no need to strive for perfection like the bolt.

So I bought latex-ite asphalt repair for a spot on driveway that someone parked that drip fluids and broke down asphlt before it was sealed. Its water activated. So weatherman said no rain for 48 hours. So fixed hole and also filled around where drive was drilled for fence post and concrete. It was just not pretty, so i used the quick patch to cover it. All went well. Then 2 hours.later freak rain storm for 30 minutes. Contacted company and they said do to high heat of day and it had an hour to dry it should be fine. It looks great and is firm. So excellent product and easy to use. Saturday morning I am sealing with two coats. Says no rain till monday. Hope its true.

This week took wifes car in for service a/c was hot and cold. They recharged, but its cold in city driving and hot on highway. I assume the compressor has a problem. Car is only 5 years old, going to search to see if this is an issue and maybe subaru customer service can assist
