Thanks, Mike. Two questions for you...

Have you had any work done through him (or know someone who has)...

...and, what's that phone # again?

Most likely that 97 GT 9612secGT is talking about is mine. Im getting 2001 heads ported and polished with a 3 angle valve job installed along with a nitrous kit and some guages. Jason did the port and polish job. I dont know if he has the heads on the car yet but Ill bet that if you call him and ask to see them he would let you.

Gone racing? Yeah, must be nice.

So how did my car look? I was thinking about stopping by this weekend just to see how it looks out of curiosity.

97TomGT, I stopped by Jason's shop today and saw your car. The heads were sitting on the bench. Looks like they're ready to go in. Should be very nice with the nitrous kit hooked up. I'd love to hear what kind of horsepower you'll be making after everything is in. Mine is the 99 Vert. Not sure whats wrong with it yet. While I have the car there, I'm thinking of getting a set of Jason's sub frame connectors installed. You should check them out. They look good.

I was actually up there today too. I was bringing Jason a set of ford racing headers. Dont buy Dynomax headers (they suck)

So your car is the one with the Novi on it right?

I cant wait to get the heads on, they look good. Hopefully it will satisfy me for a little bit. I already have plans for Jason to put on some sub-frames when I get paid next.

Jason told me next saturday it would be ready. It sucks not having a car but it should be so worth it.

I didnt get to dyno it before the swap because I got really sick when I was gonna go. But I think its safe to say that the 96-98 GTs dyno about 200 rwhp with all the bolt ons. Dont ya think?

I heard you had a new best mike. 12.3? You'll be running high 11s in no time.

what next

I dont know what to do next... [email protected] got 34 HP at the wheels just by adding accufab single disc throttle body!! That was on a blown Cobra. Its $349.. so I am thinkin that. And some suspension upgrade. I entered my car in the radial tire class at the mod motor shoot out so I am goin to be scramblin to make it faster! Just want to try and qualify... also gonna have to learn a pro tree Guess I am gonna have to take a nice loan out from the bank really quick haha. See ya all up at the shop.

Yeah Tom, I'd say somewhere around 200hp. Mine made 190hp/251tq before the swap. I had pullies, timing adjuster, home-made cold-air as far as power mods.

I'm itching to get in the 11s man! I think it's definitely gonna take a new torque converter to get me there. That won't be until October though. I'm gonna try my best and get as close as I can at the Mod Shootout. I have a couple things in the bag still that I'm saving until then. We'll see what happens.
