Talking Paging Bob Cosby (VMP Question)

Hey Bob,
My friend took me to VMP last night for my first trip to the track. One of the guys in line said that you ran there from time to time. Just wondering if you knew what the altitude was there, and if you had any idea what the DA was yesterday. Next time we head out I will drop you an e-mail.

Hi Nick,

VMP is at 100 ft. As for DA, depends on when exactly you ran. For example....

Noon: -170
3 pm: +1124
6 pm: +830

Just FYI....I'm going to move this to the Mid-Atlantic Forum.

Hey thanks Bob! Unfortunately my buddy had a flat and we did not make it until 12:30 first pass was not until 3:30 and was having some MAF problems. Never got the computer to fully re-learn the correct timing/fuel curves but I did manage a 13.1 @ 109 (2.09) on street tires. I was happy for my first time out.

Man the track was dead hooking because of all the big drag cars. If I knew how to launch there could have been some good times yesterday. My buddy cut a 1.90 short time on street tires and stock gears (3.42) but lost his clutch when the N2O hit .

There was a procharged white '99 GT there that was cutting some damn impressive times ([email protected]). You around this board?

Thanks for the info Bob,
-Nick

Is there a web-page to correct the run to sea-level?
