I'm in a mustang club, central jersey mustangs and fords, check out www.centraljerseymustangsandfords.com and go to the club sponser page, there are a few good performance shops in there and you can click on them to go to a website. I'm pretty sure JDM engineering does custom chips, and la'rocca's is of course good also. Where in NJ are you?

I'm from Jersey too, I would recommed Valley Performance in Belleville. They have been around for a long time and the owner Alfredo is super nice and knowledgable.

If you're in Vernon then Valley Performance in Belleville NJ would probably be the closest.

You can try Outrageous Performance, they are in Jackson NJ (about 30 min south of Etown) other then that I can't think of anymore so jersey mustang-only performance shops.

"isn't la'roccas in etown? that's a good hour and a half drive for me"

Would you drive an hour and a half if the work was done right? I would. I had all my work done at Larroccas and I have to say they are the nicest people to deal with. Jimmy C. and Andrew are great guys......if you want you could call them after 4 tell them about your problem and see what they think. I'm sure that Jimmy C. or Andrew will take the time to try and help you out. My friend get his work done at Crazy horse (03 Slobra)....I guess they are good too, more for road race I think. I went to Larroccas cause my friend is sponsered by them. Hope this helps....any more questions, you can e-mail me at [email protected].

i called this place in dear park NY and asked them how much a chip would add and he said that the 1994-1995 cobras have ****y computers in them so it can make a world of a difference. they just did a car the other day that was a 1995 cobra with heads and a cam they said it added 37 to the wheels because the computers are so messed up but then i asked for a price and he said it would be 600 bucks does any one know how much LaRoccas is.

Try JDM, they're not too expensive, and you get two free re-burns if you buy additional mods and put them on. I think you might have to buy the new stuff from them, but I'm not sure, either way it's a pretty good deal.

i'm scheduled for a tune at 9:00am friday morning at LaRocca's. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. if anyone in the area wants to meet up there, that would be great. let me know. i'm driving 6.5+ hours to get there from va beach, so i don't want to hear about some wimpy 1.5 hour trip

After your tune you should shoot about a mile up the road to raceway park and see how the tune turned out. I'll probably be at the track saturday as long as the rain holds off.

i would, but i think it would be pointless right now. my tires are just about down to the wear bars in the tread so i don't think i'd run much of anything good. plus i don't think i wanna break anything so far from home, but damn it's tempting.

I'm pissed, I don't know if I can even go anymore because I have to be back at school by 2, maybe I'll go early for a little bit just to get out. luckily I go to rutgers and it's only 20 minutes down the road, it's a pretty sweet deal.
