Any D.C. Metro Area Mustang clubs, email lists, etc.?

Hello--

I'm trying to get a sense of the Mustang internet community in the Northern VA/D.C. Metro area and make some local friends who like to work on their own cars and race at 75/80 and MIR. I'm in the market for a 5.0 and am pretty close to working a deal on a 90 GT. Right off the bat I may need to do a cam swap to get it through emissions (it has a CC XE274hr in it) and any local help would be great. I've been an LT1 f-body guy for a while and am used to doing all my own stuff in my garage with friends (and helping those friends with their cars too), but I'm new to Mustangs without any local Mustang friends and may be seeking a wrenching hand here and there (and also offering a wrenching hand back as needed). Anyhow, if there are any clubs, lists, forums, etc. that someone could point me to I'd appreciate it. MIR opens March 1st!!!

Thanks!
Rich

I agree w/ Saleen on this one... Northern Va Mustang Club takes the cake for the best mustang club around!

There is also the National Capitol Region Mustang Club (affiliated with the Mustang Club of America). Their home page is at:

http://www.ncrmc.org

I think those are the only Mustang-specific clubs in the area. There are several general car clubs as well (e.g., Mid Maryland Ford Club, Prince William Cruisers, etc.). Happy motoring.
