Lightbulb Skyline Drive Cruise, ALL VA STANGERS!!

Hello all VA area stangers, the Tri Cities Mustang Club of Richmond, VA is having a cruise through Skyline drive in Virginia.

We have been together for one year, and though this would be a good way to celebrate.
Everyone is welcome to come along. The more the merrier!

Our planned route is as follows...

Start at Thorton Gap off Rte. 211.. travel south.
Eat at Big Meadows (20 miles into cruise) Those who want to bring food, do so. Those who don't, you can buy something there.
Then we end at Swift Run Gap off Rte. 33.

Or if it is early, or people want to keep going, then keep on cruising to Rockfish off 64, then head home.

Here is the map in pdf http://www.nps.gov/shen/ppmaps/acf4b1%2Epdf

We are still setting it up, but would like to see some people out there. You can get more info from our message board at http://tricitiesmustang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

LS1.com is doing a similar cruise this week, look at some of the pics here... http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...hreadid=172850

Sounds great Ceece, let's set something up, post on our board if possible, I'm not sure everyone will read it on here.

Maybe we could meet up in Culpeper or either in Speryville.

We are meeting a couple guys in Speryville, they are coming from the west.

Hopefully I can find someone to drive Miss Richmond Sat evening in the Harvest Parade so I can go too. With the sniper in the tri-cities area now, it may be canceled again though too. IF ANYONE want to drive her in their clean vert, email me ASAP

Thanks

Got 10s? [NA]

OK, this is the plan so far........

We will meet at Willow Lawn in Richmond at about 9:45, everyone from the beach and in the Richmond area will meet here.
We will try to leave between 10-10:30.
DIRECTIONS TO WILLOW LAWN

Cooter's garage will be where we meet up with Jeff and others. We should get there around 12-12:15.
DIRECTIONS TO COOTER'S

Now, not finalized, but I think we should try to eat at the Brookside cabin that Ceece recommeded. It is west by 4 miles of the entrace to Skyline, so we can go there and then back to Thorton Gap.
DIRECTIONS TO BROOKSIDE

We will then begin the cruise, and stop a few times to take pics.

Any questions? post up or email me.
