Hey Doug,

I'm trying to make up my mind as to which show to go to. The Mustang show at Newport News is tomorrow also and I know what thay one is like. So how is this show? I have the flyer and it looks like a whole lot of cars. Who does the judging and how many mustangs do you think will be there?

The average Navy pilot, despite the sometimes swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring. These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

Chris,

Don't know the answer to any of your questions as this will be the first one I have attended.

BTW, what is the product you used to dress up your engine compartment. I thought you told me that you bought it at Autozone. I went there today and didn't see anything like it.

Good luck on where ever you go tomorrow.

Seems like I have to work every time something stang related is going on, including tomorrow.
Hey guys, on the last weekend of October, there is a festival in eastern Suffolk called Driver days. Small and quaint. Anyway, on that Saturday, they have a car show with alot of old muscle, alot of chopped coupes, but also some newer stuff. I'm thinking of getting in that one just cause it's small, diversified, and a folksy, country, crowd. I do need to call the guy and make sure of availability of a spot and all. Let me know if anybody is interested.

Just got back from the show. 347 cars on display. One guy had a GT-40 that was absolutely beautiful. I asked him what is the fastest he had it up to. 195 mph. Gave me goosebumps just talking to him. There were about 10-12 Mustangs in attendance.
I was surprised at the large amount of GTO's there. All I can say is , I really enjoyed seeing great looking cars.

I almost won "best in show". The judges told me the only thing that stopped me was the other 346 cars....

Hey Doug,

Sounds like that car show was very interesting. Sorry you didn't get Best of Show but maybe next year there will be 347 cars that don't show up The Newport News Mustang show was a bit slow but I saw some mustangs that I hadn't seen before. I was going to DC so I parked my car at the airport afterwards and went north.
