Modular Engine Shops in NY/NJ/PA

I am looking for a good shop in the NJ/NY/PA area to rebuild my 97 Cobra motor. Anyone have any good experience with shops here? So far the only place I can find is L&M Engines in Hatboro, PA.

CJ Pony Parts
and
Kauffman Motosports

They are both in the Harrisburg area. I have no personal experience with either, I just thought I would inform you though.

I don't think CJ Pony Parts is an engine shop. They are a parts shop. To the best of my knowledge they do not have a machine shop. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Kauffman Motorsports does not exist anymore. They are now http://www.sgsperformance.com/

Personally if I were to have anyone touch a mod motor for me, I would suck up the expense of shipping and send it to http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/. They are Gods with mod motors. You get what you pay for in this industry.

I know I've read about shops in Jersey in Muscle Mustangs, can't think of any names though.

Really nothing in NJ to note... JDM & Sansone both farm out their machine work. Livernois is a consideration for sure and I will check the link you provided for what used to be Kaufmann. They tuned my friends 97GT after he swapped in an 01 Cobra motor kept his stock ECU. They did a very nice job with it.
