93 hatch turbo build

The car is a 93 hatch that I bought as a roller, with a ls k member (oof). It has an engine and trans out of an 88 fox with probably over 100k on them. I'm doing a cheap mostly all used parts, turbo build.

The car WAS running with the stock bottom end, Explorer intake, GT40p heads (I lapped the valves with a drill and added the Trickflow spring kit #TFS-2500100), and F cam. Unfortunately, the stock oil pump wasn't having the 6k+ rpms and seized up. Well that pretty much destroyed the bearings. This happened when I bought all the parts to fab my turbo kit. So there I was with a pile of parts and a blown engine.

So I pulled the engine and all the bearings were still stock Ford. I replaced them with some King bearings off Amazon. The engine is back together now and I'm starting to fab the hotside now.

I'll be tuning the car myself with Microsquirt. Anyways here's some pics.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. I would like to tubro my car when it is inspection exempt. I can't decide if I want to try to make my own or buy a kit.
